Hi Steven (Steve?)!
I actually don't know - I haven't tested this on a windows machine and I
don't really have access to a Windows machine to check it.
The reason that comment is there in the README is that I inherited it, with
many other parts of the code, when I forked the repo from @jaderberg. Max:
any ideas?

Beyond Windows inherently being a broken OS, what is the status of Windows

I don't know either - I just haven't tested it on Windows and the only
reports I have had from people who have is that it doesn't work on Windows.
No real reason why it shouldn't, and I'm sure it would with a bit of
tweaking. I just added that to the README so Windows people don't get their
hopes up...

Thanks! @shabbychef - do you have a Windows machine you could test this on?

@arokem Thankfully I do not have a Windows machine. I suppose we just wait for a beta tester to come along.

Yeah unfortunately neither do I. Just the thought of waiting for Windows to
load up makes me shudder...

OK - I suggest that we moderate the warning in the readme to something like
"has not been tested on Windows" and wait for someone to show up and
complain.
