Same here, just I explained what I saw with verbose prose that is difficult to read...
from mbed-cli.
FWIW, neo.py ls
looks the same after a git clone
and a neo.py deploy
as it does after a neo.py import
. It appears that both ways are broken in the same way.

Looks like an internal semantic change wasn't fully applied to all of the commands : (
