Webclient: Weather Animation Sometimes Freezes on Login about stendhal HOT 2 OPEN

I am afraid, caching things earlier will only make the issue less likely. Especially on a mobile connection it may take some time, until images are downloaded. And browsers prioritize JavaScript and Websockets over image files.

The only reliable fix is, not to do anything with images until they are available.

That makes sense, but now I wonder what is wrong as it checks image height before trying to draw:

if (!this.sprite.height) {
  return;
}

I would think that the animation would start as soon as it is ready, but there must be another issue.
