Hey Mostafa, thanks for your detailed report.
I'll have to dig into this, but I can't do it right now as I'm busy with theatrejs. I'll ping you here when I start working on this or make progress.

Might be a long shot, but was this ever resolved? I'm getting the exact same crash with my own Photoshop extension. Would love to hear what (if any) research was done and if any causes/solutions were found!

I didn't spend more time on this actually. I found Photoshop quite unreliable as an extensible platform. This was true both for CS6 and for CC back when I worked on it in 2014. Things may or may not have changed now, but back then, I found myself spending most of my time working around the bugs/inconsistencies/lack-of-documentation of the platform, while spending very little time implementing the actual features. Not worth it.
