Appium depends on AccessibilityNodeInfo by Android. This could indicate that the Gradle version update affected something internal to Android. What version of greadle did you use before the 8.3.1? Did you bump android gradle plugin as well, etc? Also, please try out the latest uia2 driver

Yes. we are using 8.3.1 and we tried updating driver 'uiautomator2' to 2.42.1
Still I have this issue. I think this is a bug from appuim side. please let me know if you can reproduce this on Android. Strange thing is few ids are missing only.

What version of gradle version worked? I guess this occurred when your test app upgraded gradle from a specific version to 8.3.1, but no other changes in other env like Appium UIA2. Then, usually, it means it affected AccessibilityNodeInfo behavior, which is out of control by Appium.
