Hi. That is very strange. I'm going to release 1.2 today. It is a major re-factoring all of the event management with lots more error checking. It also has lots more logging. perhaps the students can send me their log files or at least anything that has ANTLR string in it. Also, they can try when I release 1.2. do you want me to go mail you a .zip file so you can try it quickly?

Well, we had our last test on parsing today, but I hope they still agree to look into this topic again when you have released 1.2 :)
So I think I'll wait until the release (unless you want to postpone the release because of this issue).

Thanks for the new version! At least one student who had this problem earlier, now reports that with 1.2 she sees the menu.
