IOS5? about antidote HOT 6 CLOSED

What is the reason to support only iPad 1st generation and iPod touch 3rd generation, which is 4 and 5 years old devices, respectively? Things changed a lot during this time. All newer devices can update iOS, all older are slow as hell and totally a crap.

I am stuck onto ios 5.1.1 on a fairly decent device - 4S. I could never accept the new apple maps nor the google-coded google maps. at best I was able to copy some files from ios5 native apple maps app with google data to ios6 and make it work, but no succes at ios7 or 8.
also having this old ios makes it faster than any other 4s around. after all, i want a responsive device and not having to wait for it :)

the critical thing is, is the app using APIs provided by ios 7, or can it be written with ios5-only APIs? like, are you really sure the only way you can do X is using some ios7 function, or can it be written using just ios5 functions?

Well, I don't event have an old version of SDK so I can't test it right now. I'm sure that I'm using some of new API. Also, there can be huge UI problem because iOS 7+ differs from IOS 6-.

I think that I can download old SDK and check how everything is working. However, I want finish all basic functionality first - audio/video calls, group chats, etc.
