#5537 might be related, although it happened with a normal downloaded podcast (as opposed to a local directory).
Given this bug, I'm not sure how much I trust the statistics at all (and the AntennaPod Echo results)...

Given the approximate numbers, it seems that the moment I resumed listening in 2024, the already-listened time was added twice to the statistics: 1.3hr / (53min - 15min) ≈ 2.
The big problem is that the already-listened time was added at all, not just that it got added twice.

No odd jump happened at that point, it was 1.5 or 1.6 when it finished and went to the next episode in the queue.

The statistics are an approximation. The entire time spent playing an episode counts towards the year/month it was played in last. So if you listen to an episode for 2 hours in December and for 1 minute in January, it counts 2:01 for January and 0 for December. This is the intended behavior. Tracking statistics exactly would need way more data and would kind of be too much for such a simple non-core feature.
