Adding one episode is exactly what we had before, and we removed it. Maybe @terminalmage remembers what we discussed there? Also related: #6824. If the inbox was pre-filled, it would be a bit less empty and maybe even easier to understand.

You can use episodes screen after importing your OPML. You will be able to see all episodes for all podcasts.

We recently removed that, see #6219. As Matth wrote, if you want to look at recent episodes, just look at the "all episodes" screen.

@ByteHamster I think we discussed but don't recall - should we add 1 (the most recent episode) to the Inbox when a feed is added?
I'm thinking it helps signal to the user what the screen is for/that adding the feed worked.
