Thanks for the heads up. This has been resolved in #81721 which removes the Python's crypt support for the upcoming ansible-core 2.17 release.

Using passlib is currently recommended although we are looking into providing a support for crypt via ctypes as a potential alternative.

Generally we don't support Python versions retrospectively. I believe the first ansible-core version to support Python 3.13 will be ansible-core 2.18.

Closing, since upstream can't retroactively kill crypt support on an already released version, and it's already been removed for 2.17 (which hits beta on April 8, if that's easier). Otherwise, we'd suggest that distro packagers patch out the tests as needed for packaging existing releases on not-yet-supported Pythons.
