My name is Anish Susarla and I am a student at NYU's Stern School of Business completing a double major in Business, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (BTE) along with Computer Science. Most of my Computer Science experience lies in machine learning, where I have worked with researchers at multiple institutions to develop novel ML models. One such project, where we developed a novel COVID-19 prediction model, was accepted for publication and presentation at the 2022 ACM SIGSPATIAL conference (the paper can be viewed here).
Currently, I am a machine learning developer at Vytal, where I am developing and integrating the gaze-tracking model for our quantitative brain health application. I am also a machine learning researcher under Dr. Raveesh Mayya where we are developing an attention time-series prediction model to predict future app downloads based on time, ratings, and NLP-analysis of descriptions to help companies make informed application change decisions to maximize downloads.
In my free time, I like to play tennis, listen to music, and complete typing tests!
