There have been several reports of this issue now. This should likely be attempted as a fix for 1.2 release.

Ugh. So, this seems to be an Android 3 issue, as best as I can tell. It's difficult in the emulator at times.
When the doInBackground task is being called to download and store the list, it seems that getActivity returns null. Also, the context is null. This, of course, means that mManager is null, and the whole thing just blows up.
This will need to be investigated further, but it might be best to block APIs 11-13 from installing the application until some workaround can be found or the cause for the issue determined and fixed.
