Hi @m7r
Thanks for the comment. Now that I have taken over technical lead on Angular.JS 1.x, my time has become suddenly rather limited regarding dgeni. I would love to push this forward and roll it out for everyone to use.
It is still very much a proof of concept and is missing some key features such as the ability to parse and extract members from services and to parse and extract info from directive definitions. These would be killer features and would make the tool very close to something that could be used in practice.
If someone fancied looking into this and providing pull requests then I would be happy to approve and merge them.

That features where stunning for Angular.JS 1.x
I have seen the presentation for Angular.JS 2. There will change nearly everything.
Is it still a good time to start over for docs in Angular.JS 1.x?

@m7r - I am not quite sure what you are asking here. Angular 1.x is going to be around for a long time. It is excellent, proven and used in many production environments right now. There is no Angular 2.0 yet and so there is no point in thinking about migrating toward it yet.
In the meantime you should definitely consider documenting your code and generating documentation from this. At the very least it should make it easier to understand what is going on if and when you do come to migrate it.
