The sort header doesn't do anything abnormal with animations so this is likely an issue with the animations package.

From what I can get in memory dumps, some TransitionAnimationPlayer are kept indefinitely by the TransitionAnimationEngine

For a reason unknown to my yet, the cleanup doesn't do its job here

Edit: The remaining players are always the ones with the trigger name arrowOpacity
