I see the same behavior. Once I downgraded to 0.1.5 things work fine. Is anyone able to get 0.1.6 to work?
EDIT: I am not using a touchscreen monitor. Normal laptop and Chrome browser.

I believe the issue is caused by this being merged in: #14

https://docs.angularjs.org/api/ng/function/angular.element on() - Does not support namespaces, selectors or eventData. So basically #14 only worked because he must have had jQuery as well to provide that extra functionality
@rzajac what do you suggest regarding this? I think it should be removed or else we add jQuery as a dependency and I don't imagine you want to do that!
Quickfix: set your bower to require 0.1.5

I also could not get 0.1.6 to work. Perhaps it should be moved into a development branch and the distribution rolled back to 0.1.5?
