I think coffeescript is fairly strict about indentation. I mean that it's culturally accepted to use two spaces, as far as I know. Checking for buffer settings may be somewhat tricky, since tabs and spaces work in different ways. I've done it for a different plugin, so I think it's possible, but I wouldn't bother given it's such a rare case. With other filetypes I piggyback on the standard ==
behaviour, it's only coffeescript where I set the indent manually, and it should always be two spaces anyway.
For now, I'm going to close the issue as "wontfix". If you can point me to some popular-ish libraries that have a different convention than two spaces, I may go back on my decision.
