cresults documentation, and log reporting. about critcl HOT 3 CLOSED

cresults is part of the API between critcl package and app, and very much under-documented.
And I am not recalling how the log-handling is done at the moment.
I have to re-read the code before I can answer in detail.

Ok. You are again working in mode "compile & run", right ?

Regarding your questions, having checked the code:

• The data is currently only put into the log key when
  • The compile/link failed, and
  • "buildforpackage" was active, i.e. mode "precompile".
• That log should only contain the compiler/linker output, nothing else.

Your implied request essentially is to
Drop the condition about "buildforpackage",
so that you have this log accessible in "compile & run" as well.

That looks easy enough.

And should you want/need this log even on success, that looks doable as well.
