There should also be 3 gigatic pushbuttons (there is plenty of room) on the project page saying "SAVE EVERYTHING", "Export everything to..." and "Backup everything to..."
I lost three hours work becuase i thought all was saved.

Hi! Auto save function is implemented for every text editor (scenes, chapter reason, character questions, notes, premise, fabula, settings...) from version 1.4.0 of bibisco!

Are you talking about this?

Tip: store the directory into which bibisco save your projects on Google Drive or Dropbox. This provides a back-up and allows you to work on the project from several computers.

Okay so I can't find where bibisco stores the actual project file for a story. Could someone help me? I just reset my PC and can't figure this out.

Update: Nevermind, when I reinstalled bibisco it fucking deleted my project. Worked 8 months on something that just went down the drain.

Hi, bibisco doesn't need to be installed, after download you have simply to unzip it; so a bibisco "installation" never deletes the project files.

For bibisco 1.X version your project files are in a directory called internal_bibisco_projects_db;
for bibisco 2.X your project files are in a directory called internal_bibisco2_projects_db.

But keep in mind that starting from version 2.0, bibisco is based on a completely different technology (node.js) compared to version 1.0 (java), so the projects realized with version 1 of bibisco are not compatible with version 2. Then, if you are at the final chapters of your book on bibisco version 1, I suggest to finish it, and go to version 2 for a new project.

If you need to download again bibisco 1.5 you can do it from here for windows and linux ore from here for mac.
