Hm I don't see any way of doing this currently. I mean you could wrap the @section in a cache directive but I mean the gain would be really small compared to just caching the whole page if you're basically caching most of your layout.

I was just about to mention this. In a caching package I have used for a different frame work, I could wrap sections of code that I didn't want cached. Eg...

@excludecache
...code...
@excludecacheend

I'm not familiar with the code of the package yet, but will take a look.

It would be great to see something like this.
