image mask error about word_cloud HOT 3 CLOSED

That is somewhat odd. The image needs to be greyscale. I guess I should
convert if there are more channels. But that flattening works is a bit
surprising.

I downloaded and used the alice.png as in your example, and still needed to
flatten it...
