Hi vikas,

Actually one other user also faced a similar issue, but finally it turned out
an issue with his keys. Can you please have a look here?
http://code.google.com/p/socialauth/issues/detail?id=12&can=1

If this doesn't help you, let us know and we will take a more detailed look.

Warm regards,
BrickRed Team

Hi

Actually I have registered with domain name hurraah.co.in so
my consumer key is: hurraah.co.in and
Target URL path prefix is:http://hurraah.co.in
But while registering, I have not uploaded the certificate
in the section:We do not have a certificate for your domain.
I have attached the screen shot along with the comment.
Is it the necessary step to be done. If yes(or even if not), how do I generate
this certificate. Could this be the issue?
I am able to get contact list from yahoo and twitter.
Please have a look.

Thanks
Vikas Singla

Hi Vikas,

That should not be the issue. But the key thing to know is, are you testing the
application actually on hurrah.co.in server or not? Using this key, it will not
run from your local machine.

Warm regards,
BrickRed Team

yeah, I am actually trying to run it on hurraah.co.in.

And it is working for yahoo and twitter, you can have a look at --
http://hurraah.co.in/socialauthdemo.

Because if that was the issue, it would not have worked for yahoo and twitter.
and even if I comment that (getContactList) line it works for google also. It
just fetches the profile info. But while using getcontacctList, I am facing the
issue.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks
Vikas

Hi Vikas,

Thats great to know, we were not aware that you are able to run it successfully
on other providers. In that case, you are correct and we are taking a look at
why the contactlist doesn't work for you. Meanwhile can you try obtaining the
contact list from our demo as well? That will at least show us if our code is
broken.

Warm regards,
BrickRed Team

Yeah, I looked into this demo, it seems to be working perfectly. Looks like i
have some issues with the settings I have done with google account. Still
looking into it.

Hi Vikas,

It looks like you are using a different place to register your application with
Google than we did. In your case, we do think that you need a certificate to
verify your site. The message on top of your screenshot mentions that.

Alternatively you can try registering your application here to get the keys
http://code.google.com/apis/accounts/docs/RegistrationForWebAppsAuto.html

Hi
Thanks for the response
I have used the same link which you have provided above.
It gave me some TXT which I specified in my domain settings and it started
working.
Using the above link link also I reach the same point.
What do I do?

Hi
I got something here.
In my action, earlier I had specified relative URL but on mentioning complete
URL it is working. Profile info and contact list both are appearing.

Shouldn't it work for relative URL. (For the same reason I have mentioned in
issue 23).
