That's very strange. Are you seeing any errors? Could you try going to chrome-extension://kbbdabhdfibnancpjfhlkhafgdilcnji/setup.html and opening Screenity there, see if the permissions get requested / applied?
Edit: Actually, are you only granting access to your microphone, and not your camera? That might explain it. I've just tested it and it won't go through with just one. Thankfully I've been able to fix it and I will publish it on the next release. For now if you go into the Camera permissions settings (same as the microphone one) and allow Screenity to use it (or remove from the "Not allowed" list) it should work.

I've just published it to the Chrome Store, and created a new 3.1.0 release here in GitHub. The new version won't be live in the Store until it is approved (could take a few hours, or maybe a day or so) but you can still try installing it from the release to see if it fixes the issue with the permissions.
