Should be fine now. It doesn't even need libindicator anymore :)

yaourt -S lightdm-pantheon-greeter-bzr
The missing dependencies are still not added:
lightdm-pantheon-greeter-bzr
depends onwingpanel-bzr
lightdm-pantheon-greeter-bzr
seems to depend ondconf
(see error in first post). but dconf IS installed??wingpanel-bzr
depends ongala-bzr
- While installing
gala-bzr
it want to removegranite
and installgranite-bzr
. Is this normal? - While installing
lightdm-pantheon-greeter-bzr
It saislightdm-devel
andlightdm
are in conflict. pantheon-session-bzr
(or maybeslingshot-launcher
) still depends onswitchboard-bzr
Is this github repository in sync with yaourt? Maybe I am totally missing something?
Also the question is, what to answer here? Do I need to install all?
from aur.
Yes they were added, you just need to stop using crap like yaourt and build things the proper way, one by one, with makepkg. I knew yaourt was dumb, but wanting to install lightdm-devel when there's not a single Pantheon package depending on it, that's something else. Anyway, every dep is present in the AUR, and the package was built and tested in a clean chroot.
from aur.
So just for understanding: What is wrong with yaourt? It resolves the dependencies wrong?
If you've tested this in a clean environment, could you please post your history output them? I'd try again then. This would help me a lot. Thanks
from aur.
Well, there's a lot of wrong in yaourt, one of those seems to be that, yeah. As for my history there isn't one really, I'm using devtools along with my unbofficial repo. It's right at the top of the arch wiki page, you really can't miss it.
from aur.
So you mean this page?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pantheon
And I should git clone your repository (instead of aur) and then build the packages in the order the wiki lists them? This was not clear to me, I thought I just can use the aur for this too.
from aur.
No, I meant the binary repository, it says what you need to add to pacman.conf. The rest of the page is irrelevant, Pantheon is too unstable, as in evolving too fast; to write anything durable on that page.
