It depends what assets you want available without digests.

I think I figured it out.

I'm trying to have all my images available without digest but when I precompile assets all I see still are fingerprinted versions.

I guess what's the right way to check which files my regex is capturing?

The only way is to look at what files are output without a digest

@Stephenitis You could add some logging to the gem code as it processes the whitelist. First, though, have you had success when not using the whitelist? An empty whitelist should produce non-digest assets for all of your assets, which seems like it would be sufficient for you based on your whitelist.
