Discord.js bot

Edit settings.JSON changing values to match your requirements

To start the bot you will require a Bot token and your own discord user ID
This will involve creating a new bot token which can be done on the discord dev website. Instructions to do so can be found here

You will put these into environment variables. More info can be found here
You are going to need either a local mongobd url or an external one. You will pass this to the application through an environment variable. Example of a local URL is here
Without a mongodb setup you will not be able to use the meta command. To disable the meta command open meta.js in the commands folder and set enabled to false in exports.conf
This bot uses node-opus to play music, but falls back on FFMPEG. This bot may requir FFMPEG to play music. There are many ways to do this and will depend on your operating system. If you are self hosting the bot on your own machine, simply install FFMPEG and ensure it is set properly in PATH variable. For Heroku hosting, try this buildpack
This bot allows you to play music by either passing a YouTube video URL or a search term. To do this you are required to provide an API key. If you don't you will still be able to play music via URL just not by search term.
Just to be safe, navigate to the project folder and open a command prompt there. type npm install
Start a command line at the root of the projects folder (If you haven't already done so)
You will need to start the bot with these environment variables:
TOKEN
OWNER_ID
DB
DBNAME
YT_API_KEY
These will correspond to the values you retrieved earlier. There are many ways to do this but a simple way is:
TOKEN=token OWNER_ID=ownerid DB=mongodburlhere DBNAME=nameofdbhere YT_API_KEY=key INVITE_URL=serverurl node AldoBot.js
To save yourself time, add this command with your own bot token and owner id to the start script in package.json, being careful not to push the edited repo
