Sorry for the late response; are you using the default credentials? If so, this is likely a change caused by the latest version of IB with regard to the demo account using default settings and not granting API access. Please see here for more details:

Okay, the latest commit does the my best to address this, but this is an issue with TWS.

The issue is that TWS, whenever the API updates, requires that you acknowledge you're using a new version of the API by physically checking a box and pressing OK. It stores this acknowledgement in the huge tws.xml file.

I've made a change to the tws.xml file used to build this project that tells TWS to save/load settings from their server. You'll still have to accept the acknowledgement every time the API updates, but at least you won't need to do it every time you build a new docker container.

Use the VNC feature with a VNC viewer application like Chicken of the VNC (if you'e on OSX) to access the running container on port 5900 to accept any TWS prompts.

Accepting TWS prompts will immediately connect your TWS client to the API 👍
