Hi,
Technically speaking, all wallets in AirGap Wallet are "watch-only" because they don't contain any private keys. If you have the public key of an account, you could add any account (of supported protocols) to AirGap Wallet. (To do this, you would have to generate the QR code using the CLI).
We could add addresses only, but that would require some changes in our architecture because we always expect the public key to be available.
What would be the exact use case for this? The only one I can think of is watching an address from someone else.
Not many wallets support watch only/address wallets which is a wallet with no sending ability. It will be handy for having your cold wallets from your Trezor or Ledger in AirGap wallet. This way you can go to a crypto ATM and buy some BTC and have it sent to your Trezor BTC address using a watch only wallet.
Watch only wallets are also good to check and see how much you have in an cold storage wallet.
