Thanks for your comment! My tests show that you are indeed correct. Before I update the documentation, I'm following up with our PM team to ensure that this was an intended functionality change.

Yes, great points. I just spoke with our engineering team, and this is indeed a bug that we will fix.

That said, the workflow for the steps that an admin needs to take in order to change their role from View to Edit did change. I updated the documentation to reflect that updated workflow.

The last bullet in the section, "Share a specific project role" (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/analyze/analysis-workspace/curate-share/share-projects.html?lang=en#share-a-specific-project-role) now contains the updated workflow. Specifically, "Admins placed in the Can duplicate or Can view role receive those limited experiences when they open a project. An Admin can change their role to Can edit by sharing the project with themselves and granting the Edit role, as described in the following procedure."

I've assigned a bug to the dev team and spoken with them directly and, as I said, they are aware of it and intend to fix it. After the issue is addressed, an admin will be able to change their role from View to Edit, as described in the workflow in the documentation.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for helping to improve the Analytics product and documentation!
