Sentiment Analysis in English Texts -- The growing popularity of social media sites has generated a massive amount of data that attracted researchers, decision-makers, and companies to investigate people's opinions and thoughts in various fields. Sentiment analysis is considered an emerging topic recently. Decision-makers, companies, and service providers as well-considered sentiment analysis as a valuable tool for improvement. This research paper aims to obtain a dataset of tweets and apply different machine learning algorithms to analyze and classify texts. This research paper explored text classification accuracy while using different classifiers for classifying balanced and unbalanced datasets. It was found that the performance of different classifiers varied depending on the size of the dataset. The different classifiers (Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Random Tree) gave a better performance with the unbalanced datasets.

Now that everything is being done online, the data shared on social media platforms has exponentially increased. Using this data we can analyze various socio-economic factors that are currently prevailing and a lot more. Here is a way to extract tweets based on certain topics from Twitter API using the Tweepy library. For using the Twitter API you need to have a developer access Twitter account. Request for the same it might take 2–3 hours to get an approval. Once, you’re done with the set up create an app, in it, you will get Keys and tokens, which will help us retrieve data from Twitter. They act as login credentials.
