Hi, I'm Scott 👋

This is my space. My name is Scott and I'm a Software Developer and DevOps/SRE Engineer. I'm currently enjoying life as a Software Engineering Manager at the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

  • 💪 redeploying my personal site to CloudFlare pages! Previously on Vercel (well maintained for Next.js) but loved the CloudFlare offering so ported it over. As part of this I reverted some SSR props from my CMS to reduce the build size and hopefully remove some caching issues 🤞
  • 🔭 I’ve recently been putting my skills to practice with a v2 of my frontend using Next.js, built a service for my podcasts using Express and pulling together some boilerplate Flask for use in STEM.
  • 🌱 I’m currently exploring Rails 7 + React & esbuild (removing the need for webpack!!). As well as keeping up some of my GraphQL skills 😍 ... if I get adventurous I might merge the two!
  • 👯 I’m looking to collaborate on anything and everything 🤷

You can find my professional GitHub profile here, not much to see except some awesome stats 💪
