The other thing you can do is define the drush command after --:
./bin/acli remote:drush eemgrasmick.dev -- status --fields=db-status

uli without params will work
./bin/acli remote:drush sitename.dev uli

If you put the drush command in quotes, it works:
./bin/acli remote:drush sitename.dev "uli 1"
But I'll look into improving it so that the quotes are not required.

Command in quotes worked fine
./bin/acli remote:drush sitename.dev "status --fields=db-status"
Database : Connected
But the -- approach is not working, it fails with the Too many arguments message.
./bin/acli remote:drush sitename.dev -- status --fields=db-status
Too many arguments, expected arguments "command" "alias" "drush_command".
