Yes, this is bad. I guess I should explicitly disallow doing this, or add some awkward state push/pop code that saves and restores the state when a nested parser call is made. Not sure yet which is preferable.

mm but then I might be the only person who ever uses the feature. Once you know about the issue its easy enough to work around, just unexpected. Another solution could be to return the comments in an array.
