Thanks for reporting this! This kind of problem can be fixed by using hashed variants. Right now it has to be done on a per package basis but there is plans to add a global config setting and make it the default.

But I think this particular issue you are reporting would warrant some more some investigation. It feels kind of weird that the path was split in half and "@" was inserted in the middle... I would have expected

python /path/to/some_package/0.1.0/python-3.7+<4/bin/do_something.py "$@"

which would have still been problematic , but would be more "correct".
