@bernie-laberge I got an error launching RV on my laptop saying it couldn't write settings to the Application Data prefs file. The same thing happened when I demoed commercial RV a while ago. It doesn't happen on my desktop though, go figure!

I will prepare a PR with your suggested change shortly.
I am wondering : how did you notice this ? Did you get an error when running RV ?
I am using Qt 5.15.11 on Windows 10 and I did not get any error about it in the console although the path we set (Application Data) is obsolete and Qt seems to automatically revert to AppData instead.
