I think it's important to push for GPX since it's purpose is to avoid format
problems:

If we always propose to directly add support for all the proprietary formats
we're
slowing the adoption of a common open standard.
All the software I've met so far can directly save in GPX (MapSource, MemoryMap,
EasyGPS,...). So I think the people who "want" proprietary formats can also
make the
effort to use the excellent GPS Babel when needed (I'll add a link directly on
the
website).
Never the less I'll see if I can also use GPS Babel in the backend latter.

Ok, GPSbabel command-line version is integrated in the new 1.01 version of
GPicSync
and the first new format to be supported is NMEA.
Can you tell me if there are other popular formats which are important to
support in
your view.
