Just some further info...

I copied the binary out of the container to try to debug because when i build locally it seems to work fine using the dockerfile as is.

Which led to the following gdb session:

Which led me to:

Thank you for informing me of the issue. I made a change to set PORTABLE=1 in the commit e81b26c, and the newly created image works expectedly on a server with AMD processors:

ubuntu@ip-172-31-15-215:~$ grep model /proc/cpuinfo
model : 1
model name : AMD EPYC 7571
model : 1
model name : AMD EPYC 7571
ubuntu@ip-172-31-15-215:~$ docker run -it abicky/rocksdb-tools:7.1.2-portable ldb | head
ldb - RocksDB Tool

commands MUST specify --db=<full_path_to_db_directory> when necessary

commands can optionally specify
  --env_uri=<uri_of_environment> or --fs_uri=<uri_of_filesystem> if necessary
--secondary_path=<secondary_path> to open DB as secondary instance. Operations not supported in secondary instance will fail.

The following optional parameters control if keys/values are input/output as hex or as plain strings:
  --key_hex : Keys are input/output as hex

I'll create a new image with the latest version.
