Fit Notifications allows you to view all your Android notifications on your Fitbit device, as long as it supports at least "Text Notifications" natively.
Hi,
I've been using Fitnotifications on my Mi5 since the beginning of the last year. I made also a small donation, the app worked like a charm.
Now I've upgraded to the latest version of MIUI (a fresh installation via fastboot wiping all data). Fitbit normal notifications (calls and calendar) works as usually, fitnotifcations no longer works (I even don't receive test notifications).
A FOSS and privacy oriented app like yours, and not on F-Droid? That certainly must be a mistake ๐ Would you support its inclusion there? Guessing the answer will be a clear "Yes!" I've already prepared a Request for Packaging. Looking forward to get it listed!
The application ignores systemwide silent / do not disturb mode. I request that if it is in do not disturb, then do not forward notifications to the Fitbit device -- i.e. to stop being woken up at night, if you forget to go into the app and switch "Notification Service State" off.
Running Android 9 (OxygenOS 9.0.4). App version is the latest available from the Play Store, 2.9.17.
Dear developer!
In the process of using, I found a bug in layout / display. As shown in the figure, in the first page, the text in the red box is not fully displayed.
App version is 2.9.18, my mobile phone is Google nexus 6, screen resolution setting is 1920* 1080, font size and display size are the largest, Android system is 8.0.
The above is a description of the problem. The overall experience of the software is good. You can see that the design is very attentive. Thank you very much for the efforts of the developers all the time. I hope to receive a reply.
Thank you!
Hi!
First of all, thanks for this very useful app!
I'd like to have the ability to make the app name prefix in notifications shorter. For example, I want to use [TG] instead of [Telegram] and [WA] instead of [WhatsApp]. That would make reading notifications faster when they're scrolled on a FitBit device's screen.
My idea is to add a "custom prefix" field to the per-app settings. And use it instead of the app name when sending a notification, if it's not blank.
I think I'll try to implement this myself and send a pull request.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this kind of problem... but I prefer to try. Sorry if it's not the case.
So before I had a Samsung S8, and everything worked fine.
I switched to the OnePlus 9 Pro, with the same settings, but it doesn't work.
I checked, battery optimizations are disabled for Fitbit and FitNotifications.
Access to notifications is accepted.
Priority over Do Not Disturb is enabled.
If I initiate a test call in Fitbit, I receive the call.
If I send a test notification in FitNotification, I receive it.
But as soon as it's with a normal notification... I get nothing...
I've noticed that there are a few regular ascii symbols that aren't included in the Fitbit Charge 2's in built typeface, so was going to add them to the transliteration data.
Before I make the change, my question was, do all the fitbit devices share the same typeface?
Hello! :) Latest fitbit update (22.22.55.2) gave me some issues regarding Notifications. i am not recieving any notifications most of the time - and sometimes they come after a while.
Same happens when im using the Test button in the App.
Maybe fitbit crudded it for the Fit Notification app
