Update Telethon to the latest version, it was fixed there.

Since I also run into this problem, I do "pip install --upgrade telethon" to update telethon to 1.33.0, however it show this error :
ERROR: pip's dependency resolver does not currently take into account all the packages that are installed. This behaviour is the source of the following dependency conflicts.
tgcf 1.1.8 requires Telethon==1.26.0, but you have telethon 1.33.0 which is incompatible.
and it downgrade telethon back to 1.26.0 when i do "pip install --upgrade tgcf"
please kindly reply if this a error or not

After you update telethon, don't run "pip install --upgrade tgcf", because it will downgrade again telethon.

Update Telethon to the latest version, it was fixed there.
I am using the latest version ie. Telethon 1.33.1.
Still getting the sane error again and again.
