It seems that either you started the dashboard in a small terminal window or the layout configuration is broken. I vaguely remember that I stumbled upon the same or a similar issue which might be caused by a layout incompatibility introduced with tmux 2.2. If I run the task-dashboard with tmux 2.1 everything is fine. Did you changed the default layout?

I am also encountering this issue (Linux Mint 19.1, tmux 2.6, bash), with the default config provided in the repo. Seems to be the layout incompatibility you mentioned (may be related to this issue?).

I don't know enough about tmux to fix this - any idea how this can be solved?
