Temporary workaround

Use the TCP path parameter to obtain the image on RHEL based hosts kernel version 2.6ish

I have tracked down the issue to the function that writes to disk. Therefore writing over a socket mitigates the issue at this time.
I am now working on a fix for writing to disk.
