sounds good - please ping once you'd like a review

I like the wording of the question @choldgraf. Being more direct will help them plan better for the future as well, and see if they can afford a hub like this in future semesters.

I would echo Kseniya's thoughts -- this can be a separate "page" (1 of just 2 total) on the form. Are we able to come up with meaningful ranges for the annual budget question (to make it a MC question)? If not, I can make it a simple short answer question.
@ericvd-ucb pinging you for your input on this issue!

Here is the current draft of the onboarding questionnaire (originally posted in #40): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1p1kAV6pvtRDV6T76HDlAUkfotBGSWJHX8irM_5Q4ZNo/edit?usp=sharing
I am currently working on combining the triage questionnaire into the above, so we can evaluate further changes from there?

Hey all, I've revised the above working draft of the onboarding questionnaire. The triage questionnaire was supremely useful (thanks @choldgraf!).
One thing that I haven't included yet which is something we talked about in our recent meeting is a question on financial resources -- currently, the closest question to inquiring about this is "Do you have any resource / infrastructure needs that you think are unique or may be particularly challenging?". The triage questionnaire had more specific questions about this (e.g. "What kind of budget do you have, or hope to have, for the infrastructure?") but since this pilot program is fully funded, I would love to get some thoughts on what we specifically want to inquire about, whether that's grants or funding of any kind for future iterations of the course in general, or if they potentially use a 2i2c hub but without our funding.
As another update, I planned on sending this questionnaire to our CC pilots as soon as we decided on a final version to officially start our pilot (along with other logistics like info on support channels and inviting them to the DSUS community and 2i2c Slacks). Let me know if this works for you @ericvd-ucb
from docs.
re: funding, I wonder if we could just be blunt and as a question like:
The current "Hubs for All" pilot is grant-funded, but the long-term goal is to make this service self-sustainable through a combination of grant subsidies and payment from organizations like yours. Your answer to this question helps us understand what kind of technical and organizational decisions we need to make in order to make it sustainable.
We could then ask a few MC questions like:
- What annual budget do you expect to pay for the hub?
- How many students do you expect this to serve?
- Do you prefer to pay monthly/annually?
- Do you prefer to pay by the student, or fixed price for the hub?
from docs.
The financial resource MC questions have now been added to the questionnaire - any feedback is welcome. The plan is now to send it out this upcoming week.
